100 Watt Vipers

100 Watt Vipers, Wired For Power

With a rock sound that is both nostalgic and yet somehow fresh, 100 Watt Vipers brings us a seven song album that simply ends too soon. Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, this heavy-hitting trio brings us a little blues, a little rock, and a little garage band sound all wrapped up in a tightly-mixed package.

Wired For Power was released at the end of April, 2024 with Robert Zawisza on vocals, Danny Harkin on drums, and Paul Joseph on guitars and bass.

The album kicks off strong with “Living Free,” pulling the listener in immediately with bluesy guitar riffs and vocals reminiscent of smoky bars and questionable clientele. Maintaining that energy throughout, you’ll realize that your head is nodding along to a very vintage Hagar-feeling offering that is incredibly easy to listen to.

That doesn’t mean Wired For Power is a mellow album, by any definition. With powerful guitar solos, persistent bass lines, and strong vocals from Robert Zawisza beginning to end, you’ll want to keep an eye on your speedometer if you’re blasting this one down the highway. The tracks are consistent and familiar feeling, but not boring or stale.

The Hollywoods give this album a solid 4/5. We encourage you to go check out their links below!
